Since 1948 we have entertained Calgary and many Southern Alberta audiences. 

The band performs big band chart selections from the 1940’s to 2024 for your dancing and listening pleasure. Oldies include songs by Basie, Ellington, Mancini, Sinatra, Glen Miller. We have added many great songs to our repertoire by such entertainers as the Beatles, Herbie Hancock, Mariah Carey, Neil Hefti, Natalie Cole, Stevie Wonder and Freddie Mercury.  In addition, we are now performing new Canadian compositions by Hugh Fraser (Vancouver) and Dean MacNeil (Saskatoon)  as well as works by Graham Collier and the Royal Academy of Music Jazz Orchestra.

The Hippocratic Oath Big Band, fronted by the beautiful stylings of vocalist Stacey Hellings, is available for events such as dinner dances, concerts, or other special events, and celebrations.
